Soi 6 Pattaya: map, location and every bar in order

Soi 6 is a single side street in North Pattaya, about 360 metres from Second Road to Beach Road, lined with open-front bars on both sides. This page documents the real street as we measured and photographed it on 19 September 2026 for our game: where it is, how the block is laid out, and which bar stands where.

Adults only: Soi 6 is a bar street; in Thailand alcohol may not be sold to anyone under 20 (Alcoholic Beverage Control Act B.E. 2551, 2008, section 29). This page describes the street, it does not review bars or people. Our game, SOI 6 RUNNER, runs on this street but its bars and characters are cartoons with invented names.

Where is Soi 6 and how do you get there?

Soi 6 connects Beach Road (Pattaya Sai Nueng Road, the seafront) with Second Road (Pattaya Sai Song Road), about 1 kilometre south of the Dolphin Circle roundabout at the northern end of the beach (OpenStreetMap, queried 14 October 2026). Both ends are on the songthaew (baht bus) routes: the buses run south along Beach Road and north along Second Road, so you can get off at either mouth – our baht bus guide shows where, and what to pay. The street is one-way for cars and mostly walked; it takes about five minutes to stroll from one end to the other without stopping.

On a map app search for Pattaya Soi 6 or use the coordinates above. Note that some websites list coordinates near Jomtien for “Soi 6” – that is a different soi. The bar street is the one between Beach Road and Second Road in North Pattaya.

How the block is laid out

Three lanes run side by side through the block, each one house row apart:

• Soi 6 in the middle: four lanes of concrete, bars on both sides with their tables on the pavement. In the afternoon the whole south kerb is a parking strip for scooters, pickups and beer deliveries, so the usable road is three lanes wide until about 17:00.
• Soi 6/1 to the south: the backs of the Soi 6 buildings and a row of plain shophouses on its north side (rooms, a mini-mart, massage shops, a hair salon), a long hotel compound wall with palms on its south side. It joins Soi 6 through four narrow gaps; two of them are proper alleys that scooters use.
• The Runway Market lane to the north: it leaves Beach Road at the Ramazan Döner corner under “The View” billboard, passes a round glass massage building, the Selection Hotel and an LED tunnel, then swings north in one S-bend to the night market with the aircraft on its roof and The View Ferris Wheel, and meets Second Road about 45 metres north of Soi 6. Every bar in order, south side (Second Road → Beach Road)

Walking from Second Road towards the sea, the south side is on your left. It starts with the open-sided Corner Bar and ends at the Express Banking ATM on the Beach Road corner. Metres are approximate house positions from the Second Road corner (a house front is about 7 m).

Every bar in order, north side (Second Road → Beach Road)

The north side is on your right. It starts with Good Fellas opposite the Corner Bar and ends with the Seaview Bar terrace on the Beach Road corner.

Names as they were on the signs on 19 September 2026. Bars on Soi 6 change hands often; if a name is wrong or gone, tell us and we will date the correction.

Opening hours: what we saw

At 16:04 on a Saturday every shutter we photographed was up and staff were sitting outside; the street was quiet and the south kerb full of parked scooters. By 19:00 the neon and the string lights were on and the bars were busy. We did not stay until closing, so we cannot confirm the “until 2 a.m.” that other guides give – treat that as unverified.

The game

SOI 6 RUNNER is a free browser game built on this block: the street, the two parallel lanes, the alleys and the S-bend follow the real layout (the side streets at their real distances, the game's Soi 6 about 7 % longer than the real 360 m), the bars are clutch-brick cartoons. You run from Second Road to Beach Road and choose Soi 6/1 or the Runway lane at the end. If you have walked the real street you will recognise where you are.

• Updated 5 November 2026: both bar lists are now generated from the street map of our game (one source for game and page). The hand-kept south-side list had three numbers twice and placed every house from Slutz to Cydonia Bar one frontage (about 7 m) too far towards Beach Road; it also missed the fifth gap on that side – the narrow tiled alley with a food stall between Cydonia Bar and Sandman Sports Bar, found on a later photo. From Sandman Sports Bar onwards, and on the whole north side, nothing moved. No bar name was added or removed.
