What's new in SOI 6 RUNNER

SOI 6 RUNNER keeps changing as we walk the real street and play-test the night. Newest first.

November 2026: the street from our photos, a second chance and neon nights

• Almost every bar on Soi 6 now looks like the one on our photos – about 85 houses rebuilt from the September walk: their colours, sign shapes, LED walls and balloon arches. Every house you run past is also in the in-game Brick Gallery.
• Neon wash: at night each bar's light spills onto the pavement in its sign's colour, like on the real street.
• Second chance: once a run you can bribe the Mama-san after a crash and keep running – 100 baht at 16:00, 50 more every hour of the night.
• The street notices you: the crowd turns their heads as you pass and cheers a hot streak.
• Readable drunks: a drunk now leans into his next stagger before he takes it.
• New details: the green party bus by Runway Market, the sign pole on Second Road, Charlie's and the tattoo signs on the Beach Road corner, red lanterns, the drain channel in the Runway lane.
• Faster loading: the world is built in about half the time.

22 October 2026: the real distances

• The block was re-measured on OpenStreetMap: Soi 6/1 and the Runway lane now run at their real distances from Soi 6, and the houses stand shoulder to shoulder.
• New scoring with side-dodge combos; old high scores were reset once.

October 2026: comic intro and SOI 6 FM

• Your first run opens with a short comic: the baht bus ride up Second Road.
• SOI 6 FM, the in-game radio with its own songs and music switch.
